General purpose of this lecture is to present on Evaluating Company Resources and Competitive Capabilities. Despite the importance of attaining competitive advantage in organizations, there has been limited study on the relationship between organizational resources and the way firms are organized to achieve competitive advantage. A strength is something a firm does well or a characteristic that enhances its competitiveness. A competence becomes a core competence when the well-performed activity is central to the company’s competitiveness and profitability.
