Traffic police are quite familiar to all in the towns and cities. They control the movements of people and vehicles on the roads. He is part and parcel of the towns and cities, so to speak. He is a person who is responsible to regulate traffic rules and to control the traffics on the streets. We see him starting on the islands from morning to dead night. He performs their duties standing on the island. They stand on the islands and street corners to control traffic jams and to watch over the movement of vehicles. Their duties begin early in the morning and end at a white helmet. He puts on a uniform – khaki trousers, a blue shirt with white sleeves and a white helmet. He uses an umbrella to protect himself from the scorching heat of the burning sun and from heavy rains. He is engaged in controlling the movement of people and vehicles on the road. He also tries to minimize accidents and Jams so that people can move easily and freely. In many senses, they are really responsible for making sure that the roads keep running.

There are traffic signals on important roads, bends, and Junctions. Those who violate traffic rules are taken to custody. They are fully trained, sworn-in members of the police, but instead of dealing with crime, they are focused specifically on roads and the people on those roads. Sometimes he searches the drivers whether they have their licenses. Sometimes he helps pedestrians, women and children and old people cross the road. You may have noticed, but our roads are in pretty high demand. Sometimes traffic police check the necessary papers of the drivers and the vehicles. He even punishes those who violate the traffic rules. We use them a lot, so maintaining road safety and efficiency is kind of important to our daily lives. Only a few of the traffic police are involved in illegal operations and they unnecessarily halt buses, trucks or any kind of vehicle and demand money illegally.  This may lead a country to destruction gradually.

In fact, traffic police play an important role to ensure the security of people on the roads. The duties and responsibilities of traffic police are very heavy. Rather, he should be a great friend of the passers-by and must be an important person of a nation. He is very sincere, dutiful and punctual. He renders great service to the town folk. Nevertheless, he is ill-paid.  Sometimes he has to face the risk of life.
