Pat Animal – The Cat

The cat is a very common pet animal. It looks like a tiger. So it is called the aunt of the tiger. It is a very adorable and cute animal.

The cat is a four-footed animal. It has a round head, two ears, two eyes, and a tail. Its eyes are very sharp. It has sharp teeth and claws. Its tail is short. It’s small and bushy tail helps it in maintaining balance while walking. Its body is covered with fur. It has soft pads under its lags. So it can walk without making a sound.

Cats are of different kinds and colors. Some are white, some are black, some are grey and some are of mixed color. It has bright and grayish eyes. It can see even in the darkness. Pet cats live in the houses and wild ones in the jungles. They are extremely fun loving and playful. Cats are found all over the world. It can be introverted in nature and can even take time at the same time as adjusting with the environment.

The cat lives on fish and flesh. It usually likes to eat rice, fish, meat, mouse, small birds, etc. It is also very fond of milk. People keep cats in the house for scaring the mice. Sometimes, the cat spends hours and hours at the rat-holes in searching for rats. When hungry, it mews softly.

The domestic cat is very mild and gentle. It likes to live in warm places. It is fond of the soft bed. It can run fast. It is fond of playing with children. A female cat gives birth to two to five kittens at a time. It likes to rest in warm places, sometimes on carpets or near the oven in the kitchen.

The cat kills rats and keeps our houses free from them. It can climb a tree or a fence/wall as they are extremely good at climbing. They are an essential part of our ecosystem and should be protected from manipulative and egocentric civilization. The cat is a very useful domestic pet. So, we should look after it.
