Center Pivot Irrigation

Center Pivot Irrigation

Center pivot irrigation, also referred to as waterwheel and group of friends irrigation, is a way of crop irrigation through which equipment rotates all-around a pivot as well as crops are watered together with sprinklers. A circular area dedicated to the pivot can be irrigated, often developing a circular pattern with crops when viewed from above. The majority of center pivots had been initially water-powered, now most are propelled through electric motors.
