Neural Correlate

The neural correlate of consciousness (NCC) make up the minimal number of neuronal events and mechanisms sufficient for just a specific conscious percept. A neural correlate of a content of experience is any real component, such just as one electro-neuro-biological state or the state assumed by a biophysical subsystem from the brain, whose presence always and regularly correlates with a real specific content connected with experience.
