Condensation polymers are any type of polymers formed through a condensation reaction, where molecules join together losing smaller molecules as by products like water or methanol, rather than addition polymers which involve the reaction of unsaturated monomers. Forms of condensation polymers consist of polyamides, polyacetals in addition to polyesters.
