Energy Transfer

Energy Transfer

Energy Transfer means turning energy from one form, into another. Energy is transferred from one object to another when a reaction takes place. Energy comes in many forms and can be transferred from one object to another as heat, light, or motion, to name a few. This lecture briefly present Energy Transfer with examples. The major reason for burning gasoline in an automobile engine is to convert: chemical energy to mechanical energy; kinetic energy to potential energy; radiation to electrical energy and thermal energy to electrical energy.
