General objective of this lecture is to present on Properties of Motion. There are three types of Properties of Motion: Displacement; Velocity and Acceleration. Displacement is the distance and direction travelled. Example: Alex Rodriguez hits a home run. What is his total displacement around the bases? This property of massive bodies to resist changes in their state of motion is sometimes called inertia. The Second Law of Motion describes what happens to a massive body when it is acted upon by an external force.
