Theory of Mind

Theory of Mind appears that it have difficulty understanding other people’s beliefs, attitudes, and emotions. It refers to the notion that many autistic individuals do not understand that other people have their own plans, thoughts, and points of view. It is the branch that investigates mindreading or mentalizing or mentalistic abilities. Theory of mind is a theory insofar as the mind is not directly observable. It is the branch of cognitive science that investigates how we ascribe mental states to other persons and how we use the states to explain and predict the actions of those other persons.
